It is hard to believe that the year is coming to an end! When we all embarked on the year 2016 in January with all our plans and dreams, December and the end of the year seemed far, far away. But we are almost there now – the excitement for welcoming the New Year is accompanied by myriad emotions for the year that is ending.
Now is the right time to look back and appreciate all that you achieved and helped others achieve, remember the lessons learned, and the love you got. If you want to dwell a little longer, do dwell on what you have and what you can give, not on what you don’t. We are joining you and looking back at what 2016 did for us. Thanks to your continued love, it was a great year for Paradise:
- We opened new Outlets in Hyderabad, Vizag, Chennai and Bengaluru. Your love and appreciation ensured that these launches were greeted with an overwhelming response. The lines in front of these Food Courts bear testimony to our success even today. On that note, we promise you that we are implementing several procedures to cut down waiting times across all out Restaurants. There should be no waiting for good food.
- We partnered with Swiggy, Food Panda,Food Mingo and Zomato to bring Paradise cuisine to your doorstep so you would never have to go hungry. We were happy and humbled at the same time to see how much this was appreciated – especially by Haleem lovers during the holy Ramadan Season.
- We celebrated the Hot n Juicy Kebab Festival at our Outlets in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The festival was a smashing and lip-smacking success as people enjoyed over 30 new Kebab varieties from all across the country .
- We invited you to join our breakfast club when we introduced the weekend breakfast at some of our Bengaluru and Hyderabad Restaurants. It took off well and so did the weekends for our guests!
- We added a touch of customisation and diversification to take the Paradise cuisine to more people: we introduced new Combos like the Nawabi Meal Combo, the Student Value Meal, Half plate Kebabs and the Single Biryani. All of them have been received well, as if our guests have been waiting for them all along.
- We received the Best Restaurant of the Year Award from the Restaurant Awards 2016 from Chef Extraordinaire Sanjeev Kapoor.
We are very happy with all we experienced and achieved this year, and we want to share our happiness and extend our gratitude to you. For it was you, who made our 2016 a happy year. We wish you a very Happy New Year. Have a great 2017!
If you have been to any of our Outlets in Hyderabad or Bengaluru during the last fortnight, you would have noticed that the star of our menu at the moment is not the Biryani, but Kebabs. Rightly so, what an excellent selection our Chefs have selected for the Hot N Juicy Kebab Festival. They searched kitchens across India to bring our guests the finest Kebabs from across regions.
The Festival brought together 25 lip-smacking vegetarian and non-vegetarian Kebabs, of which 16 are new varieties. Guests have been enjoying this diverse and delectable spread. Here are five Kebabs that won hearts at the Festival:
1. Mutton Galouti Kebab: A classical Lucknowi minced lamb kebab flavoured with saffron, cashew, brown onions rolled as patty and shallow fried in ghee.
2. Zaffrani Murg Sarfiyaa: De-boned chicken thighs marinated with saffron, cardamom and cream cooked in tandoor.
3. Tulsi Machhi: Basil and ginger smeared fish chargrilled to perfection.
4. Subz aur Mungphalli Sheekh: Minced veggies & cashew skewered kebabs crusted with peanuts and cooked in a moderate live charcoal.
5. Gul Lazeez Kebab: Mashed arbi stuffed with cheese cigars, crusted with cracklings and deep fried.
We are also serving Kebab Platters that offer an assortment of these Kebabs. Do try these new varieties and more at the Hot N Juicy Kebab Festival organised at all our Outlets in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Only until September 30.
Women are an eternal fountain of love, strength and virtue. It’s hard to think of the world without them, not because they form half of all population, but because of how selflessly they support the other half in achieving their aspirations and attaining happiness. As mothers, wives, daughters, sisters and friends, they nurture and sustain all that is good about life.
On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, #Paradise salutes the remarkable achievements of women. We also take pride in the fact that, from the beginning, we have focused on creating a welcoming environment to women and families. With each passing day, we see an increasing number of women visiting our Restaurants alone or with friends and colleagues.
This change took time and much effort. Firstly, we created interiors that are clean, elegant and homely. We also set up best-in-class security procedures to ensure that our Restaurants are safe. Facilities like valet parking certainly helped us attract more women. Most importantly, we trained our service staff to treat our women guests with absolute professionalism and respect.
This women’s day, visit our Restaurants and Takeaways to enjoy authentic Hyderabadi cuisine in a welcoming environment. It is a great opportunity to relax and sit down to a hearty meal – a well-deserved rest from the cares of life.
In our last post, we spoke about the rising popularity of Takeaways across the country. Concurrently, another trend is making things more exciting for foodies and that is home delivery. Gone were the days when you had to call a helpline or go online to order food. Now, you can fire up an app on your smart phone, start browsing restaurants, and order food in minutes.
The choice has also increased dramatically. Previously, only a few big name, fast-food chains used to rule the game, but with the advent of popular food ordering apps, restaurants of all stripes and sizes are getting a chance to serve foodies without investing a fortune on technology. The popular among these apps are Food Mingo, Food Panda and Swiggy.
We are pleased to announce that we are now partnering with these companies to deliver your favourite cuisine. We have a separate fulfilment team that handles orders coming from these apps to ensure that the process is seamless and fast. The menu is comprehensive and it has all the marvels of authentic Hyderabadi cuisine that you have come to love.
Whether you are watching your favourite TV show, or you just want to avoid the blazing sun of the approaching summer, the apps are your shortcut to enjoying delicious food. In fact, it has never been this easier to order Paradise cuisine. Download your favourite app, start ordering in minutes, and put your hunger pangs to rest. Do let us know what your feedback.
Paradise has always been a happening place. From the start, we have aspired to be the go-to place for all celebrations, large and small. Today, we are happy to see our guests bringing their happiness to our Restaurants, confident in the knowledge that we will multiply it with good food and great service. It’s an achievement that we are proud of.
Every day, we see guests coming with friends and families to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, new jobs, promotions and suchlike. We see people taking selfies, sharing a good laugh, and enjoying a hearty meal. In fact, all this laughter and joy is contagious and it rubs off on everyone. If you are feeling downbeat, a visit to Paradise will instantly cheer you up.
We design our dining spaces carefully to ensure that our guests enjoy their meals in an energising and relaxing environment. The open-air seating at our Secunderabad and Hitec City outlets is a good example of this. Our newest Restaurants sport interiors that are bright and roomy. In select Outlets, we also have private spaces that can be reserved for big celebrations.
Of course, the highlight remains the food. With our promise of purity and good taste, we ensure that our food delights you completely. Kebabs, Curries, Biryanis and Desserts, everything on our menu is artfully made to provide you with a memorable experience. For your next party, walk in to a Paradise Food Court and find out why they are preferred destinations for all celebrations.
If the last couple of weeks of a year are for making resolutions, the early weeks are for putting them into action. For the most part, it is what we choose to do that determines how the year will turn out to be. In a less roundabout way, the year is what we make it to be. At Paradise, we want 2016 to be the year in which we take giant strides in the following areas:
Reach more people: We opened 6 Food Courts last year to bring authentic Hyderabadi cuisine to more people. Our guests now have more options than ever before to enjoy their favourite cuisine. Yet, many feel that it isn’t enough. Judging by how our Food Courts are bursting at the seams during peak hours, we believe they have a point. In 2016, we will therefore continue to expand our presence across India.
Hire more people: We know the challenges involved in growing fast. It is hard to replicate the high standards of quality and service that our guests expect in a new Food Court. To achieve this, we need to hire the right set of people and invest in their training. Ensuring signature Paradise experience for all our guests depends on how well our people embody our values through their work. We are committed to investing in our people in this year and beyond.
Delight more people: People come to Paradise to enjoy delicious Hyderabadi khaana with friends and family in a warm and convivial environment. It is important for us to ensure that our guests always leave our Restaurants smiling. Ample parking, splendid ambience, great food, minimal waiting, gracious and responsive service – it is important that we do well on all aspects of hospitality and do well consistently.
It may appear like a small list, but it is a challenging one for sure – one that calls for all our skill and determination. With your encouragement, we are sure we will make good on our promises.
Consistency is the holy grail of all leading food brands. For restaurants with presence at multiple locations, it is also one of the most challenging things to achieve. Making sure that guests enjoy excellent cuisine and service every single time they visit a restaurant determines how well it can scale and grow. When it comes to consistency, there are no second chances.
At Paradise, we understand the importance of delighting our guests every time they visit any of our 12 outlets. We understand the expectations of our guests are high and meeting them requires discipline, diligence and dedication. For the last two years, we have been focusing on this important aspect to ensure that we grow our business and quality at the same time.
We constituted a cross-functional team in place, which is overseen by the top management. This team recommends and puts in place the processes that help us deliver the signature Paradise experience to all our guests across locations and visits. The team focuses on the continuous improvement of areas as diverse as security, ambience, billing, food and service.
Working towards ensuring a delightful experience for guests across all our outlets is a continuous work in progress. It demands rigorous attention to detail because Hyderabadi cuisine, with its myriad ingredients and elaborate cooking procedures, is challenging even for the best of Chefs. We promise you that we are steadily getting there.
