Distinguished guests at Paradise

The founders of Paradise believed in honesty, hospitality and hard work. All these qualities are fully manifest in the high quality of our cuisine, the uplifting warmth of our hospitality, and the commitment of our staff to serve you nothing but the best Hyderabadi cuisine. Yet, they did not expect the hype that a place practising these values is bound to create.

There is not a day when we are not grateful for the love of our guests. With your support, Paradise is arguably the most popular restaurant in Hyderabad today. This fame brings a lot of visitors everyday to our Restaurants, some of them very distinguished. When dignitaries and celebrities arrive at our Restaurant, we take the opportunity to introduce them to our rich culinary heritage.

In the last year alone, we served authentic Hyderabadi khana to several distinguished guests including Sachin Tendulkar, Shoaib Akthar, Arun Lal and Gautam Gambhir (cricket); Aamir Khan, Raj Kumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra (Bollywood); Prannoy Roy, Aroon Purie and Rahul Kanwal (News Media). These guests fully enjoyed their meals and some vowed to come back again.

Coming back to the hype part, it is purely incidental. It comes as a result of what we do everyday. Our success is measured by the delight or disappointment of each guest when he visits us. For us, every guest – distinguished or otherwise – is special and he deserves nothing but the best cuisine and service. This was the vision of our founders, and six decades later, it is this vision that inspires us.

Brighten up your mood

With the holiday season over, the blues have once again returned. Nothing, it seems, could be harder than getting back to work or school after a long holiday spent with friends and families. What should we do to get back on the treadmill of life with renewed energy? Well, one answer could be enjoying good food that brightens up your mood.

On your way to work, you could drop by our Secunderabad café and treat yourself to hot Irani chai and Khara Biscuits. In the evenings, you can try Samosas and Faluda at our Bakery on the Ground Floor. Catching up with friends in the evenings over hot chai and delicious snacks can instantly cheer up your spirits.

For those who returned from a long vacation and missed Hyderabadi cuisine, there’s no better way to get back in the groove than treating your taste buds to a mouthwatering bowl of Biryani. You can also try our finest selection of Kebabs and curries. A leisurely dinner at the end of a grueling day would indeed be very relaxing and energizing.

In any case, with the Republic Day on January 26, another long weekend is coming up next Saturday and there’s much to be happy about. We invite you to enjoy authentic Hyderabadi cuisine at our Restaurants/Takeaways at Secunderabad, Hitec City, Masab Tank (Takeaway only), NTR Gardens, Kukatpally and Begumpet.

Another honor for Hyderabad

We love Hyderabad. Imagine how our hearts would have swelled with pride when we heard that the city we call home has been selected as the second best place to visit in 2015 by the National Geographic Traveller magazine. We believe that it has always been a great tourist place, but being recognized by a renowned magazine gives it a respectable cachet.

Well, Hyderabad has everything going for it and the magazine describes what makes the city attractive. To begin with, there is the near-perfect co-existence of the old and the new, the historical and the contemporary, the ancient splendor and modern comforts. It also boasts of salubrious weather and not to mention the amiable Hyderabadi tehzeeb.

Of course, the article has an insider tip too: “Try biryani at Paradise, haleem during Ramadan…”. In fact, relishing authentic Nizami cuisine is an essential part of the Hyderabadi tourist experience. We are happy and thankful to have been recommended by an esteemed travel journal. We thank all our guests for their love and for spreading the word.

We invite all the tourists to Hyderabad to visit us and enjoy delicious Hyderabadi khaana at our Restaurants/Takeaways. We are easier to find, what with our presence across the city. Open 11 AM to 11 PM at Secunderabad, Hitec City, Masab Tank (Takeaway only), NTR Gardens, Kukatpally and Begumpet. See you soon!

Eat your breakfast like a king

At Paradise, the seats are always in demand for lunch and dinner. For breakfast, it’s another story. Of course, most do not know that we serve breakfast. Those who know, however, swear by the authentic Hyderabadi breakfast we have been serving at the Secunderabad Café and the Main Hall until recently.

We never talked much about it, yet the word spread and we saw an increasing number of guests visiting us for breakfast in the last few months. With guests came compliments – and also feedback. They wanted us to cater to a greater number of people and also to add more options to the menu.

Like always, we are acting quickly on guest feedback. We will be serving delicious Hyderabadi breakfast at the Roof Garden of our Secunderabad Restaurant from 7 AM to 11 AM. We invite you come savour the best Hyderabadi breakfast experience in open air as the city comes to life.

Many restaurants across the city specialising in South Indian cuisine offer a rich breakfast menu. Yet, there are times when we want to try something different and delectable. Our Kheema–Roti breakfast is a flavourful feast and a great way to begin your day. The Mutton Chilli and Aloo Curry are excellent too.

The soft Rotis go well with heavenly curries to provide an experience that you can’t get enough of. After your breakfast, a hot Irani chai is deeply satisfying. Do try these and more at our Secunderabad Restaurant with friends and familes. We look forward to serving you soon.

A sweet ending

The fact that Desserts come at the end of the meal does not mean that they can be given short shrift. In fact, they not only complete the experience of a satisfying meal, they make or break it. Why? Many of us relish the opportunity to dig into our favourite Desserts.Paradise Desserts

Considering the fact that Hyderabadi cuisine is a spicy affair, it is all the more natural to have a sweet tooth after Kebabs and Biryani. At Paradise, we have some authentic Hyderabadi and European Desserts that you can indulge in to give your meals a perfect ending.

As authentic as the Hyderabadi Biryani, Qubani-ka-Meeta is a soft apricot puree topped off with fresh cream (or ice cream). Double-ka-Meetha is a unique fried-bread pudding that feels smooth and sublime. Both these local desserts perfectly complement a Biryani meal.

We also serve delicious Caramel custard that is popular with our guests. The next time you visit us, do try these Desserts and let us know what you think. Visit our Restaurants at Secunderabad, Hitec City, NTR Gardens, Kukatpally and Begumpet .Or you can pick up some of them from all our Takeaways including Masab Tank.

The greatest compliment

All of us have a purpose. It is what gives our life meaning, moves us to action and brings us fulfillment. The founders of Paradise had a purpose and it is what drove them to build a small café in 1953 into one of the most admired Restaurants in the country.

As we look back on our history, two things stand out very clearly. A passion to make the best cuisine and a dedication to warm hospitality made our name. These timeless values are expressed succinctly in our tagline: “good food, great service and happy times”.

At its best, our behaviour embodies our first principles. For us, gracious service is as important as delicious cuisine. Today, over 1400 employees are dedicated to helping our guests enjoy memorable experiences at our Restaurants and Takeaways.

In the end, what matters is the overall experience, a meal that you will cherish for a long time. Every time you sit down for a meal, this is our goal. The satisfied smile on the face of our guests is the greatest compliment we strive for – then, now and forever.

Chinese food – made in Paradise

When it comes to food, diversity is as important as taste. Our taste buds demand variety. This explains why many of us explore different cuisines. In India, Italian, Thai and Chinese cuisines have found an eager audience. In the recent years, the bold flavours of the Chinese cuisine won many of us over.

There is no city in this country today that does not boast of a decent Chinese eatery. The cuisine is also popular with people from all walks of life. With its liberal use of spices and sauces, it surely packs a punch and offers a deeply satisfying experience.

At Paradise, we have introduced several Chinese dishes over the years. Our Ginger Prawns and Garlic Fish are popular, and so are our Chicken Hakka Noodles and Paradise Special Fried Rice. It is not just a non-vegetarian affair though; we also have some great vegetarian dishes.

It comes with the Paradise promise of high-quality ingredients and uncompromising hygiene. Enjoy delicious Chinese cuisine at our Restaurants at Secunderabad, Hitec City, NTR Gardens, Kukatpally and Begumpet. Eat well or as the Chinese say “Chia̍h hok”.
